Poem: A Transformer’s Journey

Flowing, cycles, seasons

Wonderous undoing

Planning, checking boxes

Drunken depths unknowing

Excitement bubbles forth

Like a babbling brook and child achatter

Bursting from the sacred grounds

Of harvested lands once ascatter

Unknowing the way forward

And compass spinning round and round

Thanking you for my wading through

For fertility and earthly ground.

Fear comes with me now

Not as a stowaway,

But an invited guest.

Belonging in my new world order

Beseeching me to be my utmost and very best.
